Royal Ascot Results: Five Action-packed Days
Many had been eagerly awaiting the thrills of Royal Ascot, and when the entourage of horses and riders came into sight the spectators started to cheer. Following the riders were the horse drawn carriages of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip, and Prince Charles and Camilla. This not only signified the moment everyone had been waiting for, to catch a glimpse of the Royal Family, but it meant that the Royal Ascot was officially opened, and that five days of exhilarating racing was about to begin.
