Rejoice for U.S. Horse Racing Has a New Star!

Horse racing, under unkind attack from somewhat ignorant and biased quarters these days, can certainly do with this wonderful news! There is a new lady on the New York horse racing circuit, and at the exciting equestrian life of 3 years, has the makings of a legendary champion.

Bushfire has a tremendous bloodline. Sired by the gallant Louis Quatorze, this filly has all the genes needed for a horse racing star. 2006 has been a landmark year with some famous victories against top competition. Bushfire has clocked the half mile at 45.00, and has shown the ability to come from behind to take racing events with overbearing confidence.

Bushfire is one of trainer Kenneally‘s top achievers, and though the filly has been penalized once for bumping in a home stretch, her confidence and race temperament are truly a joy to witness in every fast-paced event. She has raked in over $ half a million already, and seems set for a fantastic career.

The Rashinski family of Homewrecker Stable own Bushfire. She is slated to run next at Saratoga in August or at Belmont in September. Trainer Kenneally is keen to provide the filly with all the rest and relaxation she needs to reproduce her wondrous form and spirit yet again.

It has been some time since the U.S. horse racing circuit saw a thoroughbred with Bushfire’s classic and rare characteristics. Though she has both speed and stamina, it is her indomitable spirit which has seen her take 3 of her last 4 major events. Bushfire is a most worthy offspring and successor of her blood line: she is surely slated to give horse racing enthusiasts many memorable events with her relentless exploits.

Bushfire is worth celebrating for more than her exploits on the race track. She is a telling and real life example of prime horse racing values. Bushfire exemplifies the fruits of diligent breeding, endless veterinary care and immaculate training, all of which set this sport apart.
